Recommended:
- Omnissa Certified Professional Desktop(OCPD)
- Having a base understanding of Horizon is beneficial.
- A background in End-User Computing is recommended. Additional platform knowledge of vSphere is advantageous.
Course Objectives
As a solution-focused offering, we start with an already deployed multi-site Horizon environment. Our focus is on how Workspace ONE with Horizon can help solve business challenges from a manageability, security, availability, recoverability, and performance perspective. The philosophy at the heart of Workspace ONE is the end-user experience: simple yet secure, regardless of the endpoint platform.
By the end of this session, attendees should be able to:
- Integrate Horizon with Horizon Cloud NEXT GEN.
- Deploy the Unified Access Gateway, with their own developed PowerShell Script.
- Configure a seamless multi-site access solution with NSX Advanced Loadbalancer using Global Server Load balancing and Local Server Load balancing.
- Configure Horizon Cloud Pod Architecture to solve high availability and scalability requirements.
- Configure a secure Single Sign-On solution using Workspace ONE Access and secured endpoints using Workspace ONE UEM.
- Integrating Horizon with OPSWAT.
- Integrate with untrusted Active Directory Forests to provide secure resources when organizations are isolated.
- Deploy Apps-on-Demand with a view to maintaining redundancy and enhancing manageability in a multi-site Enterprise.
- Facilitate and manage the end-user experience for Microsoft Windows Users using Dynamic Environment Manager.
- Integrate with ThinApp to help with legacy application and platform challenges
