Course Overview
CompTIA Network+ validates the technical skills needed to securely establish, maintain and troubleshoot the essential networks that businesses rely on.
Unlike other vendor-specific networking certifications, CompTIA Network+ prepares candidates to support networks on any platform. CompTIA Network+ is the only certification that covers the specific skills that network professionals need. Other certifications are so broad, they don’t cover the hands-on skills and precise knowledge needed in today’s networking environments.
Who should attend
This course is intended for entry-level computer support professionals with a basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and operating systems who wish to increase their knowledge and understanding of networking concepts and acquire the required skills to prepare for a career in network support or administration.
Course Objectives
Developed by CompTIA, the Network+ is a vendor-neutral and globally recognised certification. This certification proves you have the knowledge needed to start a career in networking.
On this course, you’ll learn how to configure, manage and troubleshoot common wired and wireless networks. You’ll also study emerging technologies, like mobile, cloud and virtualisation, and cover the five key areas of the Network+ curriculum:
- Networking Concepts
- Infrastructure
- Network Operations
- Network Security
- Network Troubleshooting and Tools
